Enjoy a free, family-friendly experience at the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, discovering Nordic and local activities in a festive atmosphere! The villages of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, Samoëns, Morillon and Verchaix join forces to offer you a multitude of Nordic activities in the majestic setting of the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval.
Les Hivernales du Haut-Giffre offers two fun-filled days dedicated to discovering the valley's Nordic activities: cross-country skiing, biathlon, snowshoeing, introduction to paret (sledding), electric scooters, sled dogs and kindergarten.
Other activities include educational activities on the valley's flora and fauna in partnership with the Nature Reserve, obstacle courses, human curling, ice sculpture, ARVA search, climbing wall (weather permitting), batucada, and much more.
Access to the Fer-à-Cheval Nordic circuit is free, with shuttles available from tourist offices. Drinks and snacks are available on site.
Free shuttle service throughout the day to and from each village and the event location.
Free shuttle service from the Tourist Offices across the valley (Morillon, Samoens, Sixt).
