What are the different ski passes for the Samoëns/Grand Massif ski area?

  • The Samoëns beginner ski pass: This gives access to Samoëns 1600 and use of the lifts in the beginner sector: 2 return Grand Massif Express or Vercland gondolas – Pendant, Château, Babuches and Plateau lifts – Damoiseaux and Demoiselles chairlifts. Beginner skiing is free on the Oratoire carpet.
  • Vill4ges ski pass: with this pass you can ski on the slopes of Samoëns, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer à Cheval.
  • Grand Massif ski pass: includes the Vill4ges ski pass and the Flaine slopes.

Are children under 8 free?
Yes, skiing is free for children under 8 and seniors over 75.

All you need to do is show proof of age (identity card, health insurance card, etc.) when you book your ski pass online or at the checkout.

When you place your order, select the skier’s age in your basket to see the free pass appear, then follow the instructions online.

Is there a charge for parking?
All the car parks in Samoëns are free except for the Grand Massif Express car park, which charges in winter. Find out more here.
