Samoëns is part of the Grand Massif ski area, the fourth largest ski area in France and is linked to four other resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. At 700 meters above sea level, from the village, access to the Grand Massif easily, and in just eight minutes, with the Grand Massif Express cable car. Arriving at 1600 meters altitude, it is a ski area of 265 km of slide that awaits you!

Close by and accessible from Lyon, Annecy and Geneva, the Grand Massif combines several ski areas at 700 to 2500 meters above sea level in the Haute-Savoie. There are five ski areas: Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz d’Araches, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval. In the heart of the Haute-Savoie and opposite the Mont Blanc, this incomparable ski area includes, in addition to classified sites, 23 green runs for beginners, 60 blue runs and 47 red runs for medium-sized skiers. The 12 black runs are dedicated to the most experienced skiers. In total more than 265 kilometers of runs, connected by a modern, efficient and comfortable network of ski lifts.
