This itinerary can be broken down into two others, the 1st: from Samoëns to Secouën (1h30) the 2nd: from Secouën to Verchaix (1h30). START : Place du Bérouze - Samoëns. @Patrice Gain Itinerary for guidance only.
1/ From Place du Bérouze, cross the bridge to the left and follow the road
road for 700 metres. Leave the road for a wide track
to the left, leading to the hamlet of Mouilles.
2/ Cross the main road to take the small road that passes an oratory
an oratory, then past the chalet "L'Accueil Savoyard". Continue along the wide track to the hamlet of Les Noyerets.
3/ At the crossroads, follow signs for Secouen. At the next crossroads, take the left-hand lane which passes a pool and then an oratory.
4/ Continue along the carriage road overlooking the valley. Pass a renovated farmhouse, then follow the narrower path which soon reaches the footbridge over the Valentine torrent.
5/ At the end of the bridge, turn left then right to follow the path that leads to the Verchaix church. After the church, take the first road on the left.
6/Obliquing left again, the route returns behind the church to take the "La voie Courbe" path.
7/ Continue downhill through the woods to "Charrière-Lornaz". After the cross, a small road quickly gives way to a pretty path, and you reach the intersection with the path leading to the Valentine footbridge.
8/ Turn right and follow the path down through the woods to the main road. Cross the road to reach the banks of the Giffre. Turn right and follow the path to the bridge over the Giffre. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left.
9/ The path leads past Lac Bleu de Morillon and back to Lacs aux Dames in Samoëns. As you leave the leisure center, take the road on the left that leads past the swimming pool, then straight ahead to Chapelle du Bérouze.
In July and August, the Lac Bleu beach is ideal for swimming (lifesaver in attendance).
