Nicole Ducloz is a painter. Free admission during library opening hours. Exhibition organized by the Criou Livres association.
After several years of classical training in various techniques (oil painting, acrylic, pastel), Nicole Ducloz discovered the joy of creating more personal pieces with the Art'dep association in Aix-les-Bains.
After a prescient first exhibition entitled "1, 2, 3 Cailloux" at the MJC (Mural and Cultural Center) in Aix-les-Bains in 2016, in recent years she has drawn much inspiration from the standing stone statues of Aveyron, discovered in 2017, and then from prehistoric statuary.
She works exclusively on paper in various formats and primarily uses acrylics, pastels, pencils, and charcoal.
In 2023, Nicole Ducloz exhibited her standing stone statues in the exceptional setting of Fort Barraux in Isère.
Using the same techniques, her work has evolved toward more abstract forms.
Building "Le Petit Bellevue" (ground floor), 4 route de Taninges.
At the village entry, coming from Verchaix, the library is located next to the hotel Le Gai Soleil, after the school on the left.
