Exhibition of drawings by Claudia M. FREE ENTRANCE. Exhibition organized by the Criou Livres association.
Claudia M. is an illustrator and works on the theme of the mountain, an environment that influenced her childhood and which she returned to 9 years ago.
She lives in a small village in Haute-Savoie.
Claudia M. works with Indian ink, calligraphy pen and watercolor. She illustrates moments in the mountains that speak to her and make her smile. Little moments of fulfillment, little moments of happiness and joy. She tries to bring her drawings to life and give them life.
Working with a calligraphy pen is a very spontaneous gesture, which allows it to match the energy she wants to put into her illustrations.
She uses watercolor for touches of color to bring delicacy to the drawing. Once she has finished her drawing, she scans it.
A local company prints it on photo paper and sticks it on a wooden support. The image is protected by an anti-UV film. This results in a painting that can be hung directly on the wall.
Claudia M.'s drawings are offered in a limited series of 30 copies, which she numbers and signs on the back.
Visiting the exhibition is free, during media library opening hours.
Building "Le Petit Bellevue" (ground floor), 4 route de Taninges.
