Philippe paints in the wilderness during his high-mountain expeditions, capturing the strength and fragility of the landscape. His large-format works, produced at altitudes of over 5500m, reflect the balance between the power of the mountains and the delicacy of paper. Thanks to his nomadic approach, he takes his studio outdoors, painting
directly into the heart of the mountains during his walks and expeditions.
