It is within the Bois aux Dames area, in the heart of the Giffre valley and in increasingly unusual places, that a programme full of songs and discoveries takes place. The beautiful music gives rhythm to the evenings of this week dedicated to the poetic art of opera.

The organisation of the festival is sensitive to the impact of any event gathering an audience, requiring logistics, means of transport, etc. For several years now, the Samoëns Lyric Festival has been transforming itself into an eco-festival thanks to the actions undertaken with artists, festival-goers and teams. Thus, “The Festival is committed to an eco-responsible approach, for a sustainable and united event. By raising the awareness of artists, teams and festival-goers, the Festival strives to implement a policy of rationalising travel, waste management and eco-responsible purchasing, all of which are part of a sustainable use of the site and an ever-renewed solidarity movement. It is with an approach in line with current environmental issues that the Samoëns Lyric Festival improves each year.

  • White motorway A40 Geneva/Chamonix
  • Exit Cluses-Scionzier (n°18)
  • Direction Samoëns (20 minutes)
  • Arriving from Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel: take the A40 motorway to Geneva, then exit at Cluses/Scionzier (n°18)

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT :

  • Direct trains from Lyon, Paris, Lille, Brussels
  • Then regular bus lines from Cluses and Annemasse
