Come and discover the secrets of mountain rescue during an immersive day combining practical workshops, captivating lectures and convivial moments, in the heart of the snow-covered Haut-Giffre landscape.

Join us for an unforgettable day dedicated to mountain rescue, ideal for learning, sharing and enjoying the beauty of the winter landscape. The program includes practical workshops such as avalanche transceiver use, probing and shoveling, introduction to first aid, makeshift shelter design, as well as techniques for immobilization and extraction in emergency situations. An animation will introduce you to anchoring and reeving techniques specific to mountain interventions.

A series of informative lectures will cover essential topics such as safety on the slopes and managing the cold in the event of an accident. As soon as you arrive, you'll be offered mulled wine to warm you up, and you'll be able to take advantage of a catering service at the refuge (reservation required). In the evening, a convivial fondue-conference will be followed by a magical descent illuminated by the full moon, supervised by the Société de Secours en Montagne du Haut-Giffre.

Access is possible on skis, snowshoes or on foot, and the event is open to all: individuals, families or groups, with or without supervision.
