The via ferrata

A cross between hiking and climbing, the Via Ferrata is an excellent way to get a good view of the Giffre valley, the Grand Massif and the village of Samoëns, in complete safety.

Caving 

An underground exploration of the village of Samoëns and the surrounding area

This spring, come and explore the underground world of the Giffre valley thanks to the caving activities offered by our partners. In Haute-Savoie, discover the 2nd deepest chasm in the world, the famous Jean Bernard chasm, as well as the Balme, Mégevette and Diosaz caves.

Open to all the family, this activity will be full of discoveries and surprises. In the heart of the Alps, choose the formula that suits you best: exploration with a guide, multi-activity week or caving school.

 

Fishing

What could be better than fishing in the idyllic setting of the Giffre valley?

The Giffre valley has one of the most beautiful and extensive fishing stretches in the mountains. Classed as a first category river, you’ll cover no less than 27km of the Giffre from Morillon to Sixt Fer à Cheval and discover the Gers and Gouilles Rouges lakes, the second Lac aux Dames and the communal lakes of Samoëns and Morillon.
