Thierry Daudier de Cassini is a painter from Neufchâteau, born in France in 1964. He is an artist recognized for the originality of his works and his innovative techniques. Exhibition organized by the Criou Livres association.
His latest series, in black and white, Cassini's Thierry Daudier studies the fluctuations of particles in a vacuum to create captivating visual dynamics.
It draws its inspiration from quantum physics, such as the spontaneous creation of particles from a vacuum. This void is not empty in the traditional sense, but rather buzzing with energy and potential according to quantum principles. This concept resonates deeply with the philosophy of the Tao, which emphasizes the idea that the void has intrinsic creative potential.
It is by drawing on this potential that the artist constructs his representations of the immensity of the universe from the void and the infinitely small.
Thierry Daudier de Cassini was influenced by artists like Zao Wou-Ki, Sam Francis, Joan Mitchell, Georges Mathieu, Jean Degottex, André́ Marfaing, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Youla Chapoval, Henri Michaux, Pierre Soulages, Serge Poliakoff.
