Local products are honored on Wednesdays in Samoëns. Butchers, cheesemongers, fishmongers, pork butchers, greengrocers and bakers, all come together to offer you the best of our region’s products. Cross-country skiing

This winter, come and taste the pleasures of skiing in the heart of the Alps and its mountains. With our two Nordic areas, in the Giffre valley and at the Col de Joux Plane, beginners and expert cross-country skiers will find what they are looking for. Our cross-country ski schools will be happy to welcome you and accompany you on your first runs!

The sled

Do you want to go down the sledging slopes of Samoëns? This fun activity that can be practiced with family, friends and solo, will delight the little ones … the big ones! Come and have a great time on our sledging slopes.

Biathlon

Experience biathlon like the greatest champions. Accessible to all, this combination of cross-country skiing and laser rifle shooting will delight those who love effort and precision. Well supervised by our French Ski School (ESF) instructors, you will have a great time learning the basics of this discipline.

Beginners will have the chance to learn to ski on some of the slopes at Samoëns 1600. Thanks to the conveyor belt, you will be able to go back up to the top of the initiation slope and go for a ride!
