On sunny days, when the snow has melted, Samoëns becomes a bicycle land. Here, the Joux-Plane pass, which rises to 1,700 metres above sea level, is a landmark (or even a hangout) for experienced cyclists who want to add a legendary pass to their list of achievements. Crossed many times by the riders of the Tour de France, its ascent from Samoëns allows to walk a wonderful balcony open on the valley and the Mont-Blanc massif.
With 400 km of trails and 28 freeride and single track tracks, cyclists with less trained calves will also find something to enjoy in Samoëns. The village has also received the national “Bike Home” label, which guarantees a welcome and quality services along cycling routes.
