In the summer, you need freshness… And the tumultuous Giffre, which passes through Samoëns, is an excellent provider. Hydrospeed, canoraft, canyoning… In this mountain stream, all water activities are allowed. Invigorating!

Little lexicon:

Rafting.  In an insubmersible boat, up to 8 and supervised by a guide who will help you steer the boat, you leave Sixt, for a descent that will pass through the plain of Samoëns and the narrow gorges of Tines. Some structures offer a barbecue break and even a yurt party!

Hydrospeed.  Equipped with fins and a reinforced jumpsuit, you will fly the Giffre on a foam float and learn the currents and surf its waves.

Canyoning.  Jump into the pools dug by the water, slide on natural slides, abseil the waterfalls for an aquatic and sports hike in a beautiful natural setting.

Canoraft. The Canoraft is a manoeuvrable inflatable boat, which allows to slide on the Giffre. Two in the boat, which you steer with a paddle, you will be in osmosis with the river. For beginners is proposed a course that does not pass through the gorges.

Airboat. The Airboat is an inflatable kayak, but unlike the canoe, you are alone in the boat. In autonomy, you fully discover the pleasures of navigation on the Giffre, safely.

And also… water skiing.  Close to Samoëns and in the heart of the mountains, you can enjoy water skiing on a private lake with certified slalom.
