Try out new ways of skiing with Ski Joëring

Discover the Giffre valley through a new form of sliding, the ski joëring: let yourself be pulled by a horse while being on your skis. Whether you are walking, trotting or galloping, this activity does not require any particular level of skill, just let yourself be guided by the horse…

TUESDAY

Educational snowshoe hike for families!

And for those who want to get away from it all, plunge into the heart of nature with a snowshoe hike specially designed for families. On the programme: discovery of nature (animal tracks, botany…), a little education (study of snow, geology…), safety with avalanche prevention and a touch of fun for an unforgettable walk!

First gliding sensations in a pony sled

The little ones discover their first sliding sensations sitting quietly in a sledge pulled by a pony… Simple and fun, this activity will delight children!

WEDNESDAY

The ice garden reserved for the youngest and the beginners

Because there is no age to try ice skating, the Samoëns ice rink offers the youngest to take their first steps on ice in the ice garden, thanks to the loan of fun and educational equipment (skates, chairs, cones, penguins…). The area is reserved for beginners and toddlers every morning during school holidays.

THURSDAY

Free activities proposed on the ski area in the Septisnake zone

A Quiz on the animals of the Grand Massif: to test your knowledge of the animals that inhabit our mountains with the Tootizz, the guardians of the Grand Massif.
Tootizz course: to show off your skiing skills. Speed and agility will help skiers take the Septisnake turns like pros!
Target Shoot: Take a snowball and throw it into the target.
Paret & snowball fight: Discover the paret, a traditional Alpine sledge and its modern version, the yooner. Also take part in a snowball fight where agility is required to win the game!
Treasure hunt on the ZiZiPanPan trail: it is organised to solve the enigma of the Tootizz in the mysterious forest!

SATURDAY

Night-time snowshoeing and aperitif in a real igloo

The Guide Bureau proposes a night-time snowshoe outing, supervised by professionals, in the snowy mountain pastures of the Haut-Giffre massif. A fun activity accessible to all to discover the secrets of the winter mountains at nightfall! After a hike facing the sunset above the village of Samoëns, the participants join a real igloo for a tasting of Savoyard specialities. An exotic moment…
